Accounting/Administrative Assistant

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours: Flexible

Requirements:
Graduate of a two-year business program or enrolled in a recognized accounting program with at least one year of accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiar with Quickbooks accounting software

Responsibilities:
Accounting data entry using Quickbooks
Setting up and maintaining a variety of filing systems
Preparing bank reconciliations, HST returns
Payroll services
Monitoring Accounts Receivable and Payable
Weekly cheque run
Reconciliation of bank accounts
General correspondence
Ensure all deadlines are met
Assist the Management Team in a variety of administrative functions

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle all day to day matters independently
