US Airways Station Manager

Duties
• Serves as a customer advocate, maintaining a high level of customer service delivery by all Station personnel.
• Oversees financial administration operations for airport unit.
• Provides leadership to a team of front line and service provider employees in order to meet departmental and corporate goals in YHZ .
• Assumes responsibility for employee management including hiring and firing decisions, performance reviews, salary administration, training and career development.
• Oversees supervisory staff which includes the counsel and development of supervisory staff as required.
• Continually evaluates, recommends and coordinates new processes to improve performance goals while increasing efficiency of the work unit.
• Develops employees to their fullest potential by providing frequent positive and corrective feedback.
• Achieves operational scorecard goals and maximizes operational performance, adjusting to changes and proactively solving problems, including but not limited to: on time performance, customer complaints and issue resolution, OJI, safety audits, metrics and gate/baggage service operation.
• Performs administrative tasks as it relates to service provider payments and ensuring internal control procedures are followed.
• Operates the Station within budget constraints and with emphasis on customer service and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Travel Required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• MUST HAVE 5 years Airline Management work experience
• Excellent supervisory, leadership and motivational skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage an operational budget
• Able to evaluate, identify and recommend changes for operational and financial improvement
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service
• Must have the ability to train and develop others
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Must have necessary work documents to work in Canada and necessary visa/documents to travel to USA
• Must be fluent in both spoken and written English
