| Field Service Rep The Field Service Representative is a key contributor in providing technical phone and onsite support and direction to internal and external customers regarding instrument maintenance troubleshooting repair and escalation of more difficult problems and critical account situations to second level support The Field Service Representative must respond to instrument problems providing customer accounts both corrective and preventive service measures This support may require extensive travel and overtime The Field Service Representative is also a primary liaison between the customer and the Sales and Technical Sales functions. • Two to five years of experience in field service as a Field Service Engineer within the Healthcare Diagnostics industry. • College diploma in engineering or science from a recognized institution • Minimum two year technical degree/diploma or equivalent work experience in electronics, robotics, computers, engineering, or medical technology. Degree in Engineering or Biomedical Enginering Technology preferred. • Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, instructional and communication skills (oral, written) for success in this position. Must also possess an excellent team and customer service orientation, problem solving skills, time management and computer proficiency skills. • Must be a self starter able to work without direct supervision and take ownership of his territory. • Must be committed to Customer Care and instil customer confidence. • Must have an excellent driving record. • Must have a Canadian Passport and be able to travel to the US for training. | |
